Synopsis:
Lifelong platonic friends and 10-year roommates Zack (Rogen) and Miri (Banks), desperate for cash, decide to make a porno.

As if it wasn’t surprising enough that the homely Seth Rogen has bumbled his way into leading man status, now Kevin Smith has decided to have him star in a porno in the aptly titled Zack and Miri Make A Porno? Ugh, this one is already giving me nightmares.
At least one can see why Elizabeth Banks signed on for the film. Since co-starring with Seth Rogen in Knocked Up made Katherine Heigl rom-com’s new “it” girl (despite the negative publicity from her recent disparaging comments about the writers of “Grey’s Anatomy”), Banks is hoping lightning will strike twice.
Sure, Kevin Smith was able to turn two drug-dealing slackers (Jay and Silent Bob) into mainstays in some of the funniest movies in recent history, but can even he make Zack and Miri worth seeing, or will people flee the theaters as soon as Seth starts shedding the clothes?
My guess is this one is going to go over well with the teenyboppers too young to legally get into the flick, and won’t go over as well with the people over 17.
Then again, with the rude and crude films of Judd Apatow still doing big business at the box office, Zack and Miri may be a hit.
Despite a comical poster, I think I’m going to skip this one. I may end up watching it on the small screen, but it’s not going to exactly be at the top of my list - despite Smith bring Jay (Jason Mewes) back for another movie.
