Ever since it was announced that WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN would no longer be on The CW after The CW failed to renew their contract, fans have been wondering what would happen to their favorite Friday night show.

Where would fans be able to see, Batista, The Undertaker, Rey Mysterio and the rest? Would the show be shut down and it’s superstars shuffled off to MONDAY NIGHT RAW and ECW? Rumors were flying rampant, and fans of the show were worried.

Well, put those fears to rest. WWE.com has announced that WWE and MyNetworkTV have signed a deal, and WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN will appear - in it’s familiar 2-hour format - on MyNetworkTV beginning Fall 2008.

If you’re like me, MyNetworkTV didn’t sound familiar, so I checked the website and discovered it was more familiar than I thought. Thanks to the Station Finder, I discovered I will be watching WWE FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN this fall on cable channel 6.
