Synopsis:
Meredith Grey (Pompeo) works at Seattle Grace Hospital. Having made it through her internship under tutelage of “The Nazi” Bailey (Wilson), Grey continues to balance work and relationships - most notably with Dr. Shepherd (Dempsey) - while doing her best to live up to the reputation of being the daughter of Ellis Grey, one of the most pioneering surgeons of her time.
Why We Watch:
When “Grey’s Anatomy” first hit the air, I was skeptical. Another series that takes place in a hospital, haven’t we overdone this already? I mean hello, “Chicago Hope”, “ER”? Well, I decided to give it a shot since Patrick Dempsey (aka McDreamy) is one of the main characters.
The first season really hooked me and now I can’t get enough. In the first season you realize that the show is more about the interns than the hospital itself.
Come to find out Meredith Grey (Pompeo) had what we all thought would be a ‘one night stand’ with Dr. Shepherd (Dempsey). On top of that Dr. Shepherd is one of the Doctors that she is interning for.
Out of the other cast members, my favorite is Christina (Oh), with her ‘ I can do anything’ attitude that I love.
