the Mind’s Chew Toy

Synopsis:

A young couple, Kristen (Tyler) and James (Speedman), are targeted by three dangerous masked strangers, who attack them in their remote suburban home. The resulting clashes force the couple to go well beyond what they thought themselves capable of in order to survive.

Our Thoughts:

While this sounds like just another run-of-the-mill horror pic, the odd couple of Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman may actually help it. After all, maybe giving Liv a character that is put into life-threatening situations may actually cause Liv to act for the first time in her life - and give Scott’s career another boost (similar to what his appearance in Underworld - opposite Kate Beckinsale - did).

But then again, if Liv has been able to make it this far in her career without acting, why should she start now?
