Plot: It’s 1976, and one-hit wonder Jackie Moon (Ferrell) has used the profits from the success of his chart-topping song “Love Me Sexy” to achieve his dream of owning a basketball team. Plot: Harold Crick (Ferrell), an IRS agent leading a very mundane existence, has his life changed forever when he begins hearing a mysterious voice narrating his life. With the help of Professor Hilbert (Hoffman), Harold discovers he’s the main character of a novel-in-progress and that the voice belongs to Karen Eiffel (Thompson), an author famous for killing her main characters.

Plot: When Buddy (Ferrell) was young, he was put up for adoption. After crawling into Santa’s sack, he was adopted by an elf (Newhart). 30 years later, he discovers he’s not a true elf, and forges his way to New York to meet his father (Caan). But will Buddy be able to adjust to life outside Santa’s workshop?

Plot: After Mitch (Wilson) finds out his wife is cheating on him, his friends try to cheer him up. In his new rental place near the local college, they throw him a huge party. With the Dean of the school (Piven) trying to get them kicked out of the house, they decide to create an unusual fraternity. Now all they have to do is prove they have what it takes to be a fraternity…even as Mitch tries to get his life back in order.
