Plot: A fan’s comment during a political comedian Tom Dobb’s (Williams) talk show one night causes Tom to join the next presidential race. He brings his show on the road, skewering the other candidates. That is, until he’s elected President that November. But, when he finds out a computer error is behind his bizarre new situation, he has to decide whether he should stay President and work to change the corrupt system from the inside, or do what no politician ever would - be honest.

Plot: When 19 year old Emily Rose (Carpenter) dies after an attempted exorcism, her priest (Wilkinson) is put on trial. Lawyer Emily Bruner (Linney) takes the case under promise of partner if successful. Emily’s defense for the priest leads her to question her own beliefs about demons, possessions, and other things supernatural.

Plot: 5 weeks before Christmas we take a peek inside the love lives of 8 British couples: A man (Neeson) still grieving over the loss of his wife and his stepson (Sangster) who is in love; a newly married couple (Knightley and Ejiofor); the newly-elected British Prime Minister (Grant); a high-powered exec (Rickman) his wife (Thompson); a writer (Firth) trying to escape from it all; a pair of body doubles (Freeman and Page); a young woman (Linney) with family issues and a man (Marshall) about to adventure to America.

Plot: Sean, Dave and Jimmy are childhood friends when Dave is kidnapped. He escapes after four days, and they lose touch with each other. Years later, Jimmy (Penn), Dave (Robbins) and Sean (Bacon) all lead separate lives. But they are all brought back into each other’s lives by the murder of Jimmy’s daughter. Plot: Distraught by the death of his wife (Messing) two years ago, John Klein (Gere), a Washington Post reporter, finds himself in a small town in West Virginia with no idea how he got there. Found by a local police sergeant (Linney), he soon learns many of the town’s residents have seen a “moth-like” creature, identical to the one his wife said she saw before she died. Now he must convince the sergeant that calamity is about to come to this small town, and nothing can stop it. Based on actual events.
