★★★½☆ Kung Fu Panda (2008)

Plot: When Po (Black) is unexpectedly chosen to fulfill an ancient prophecy, his dreams become reality as he joins the world of Kung Fu and studies alongside his idols, the legendary Furious Five, under the leadership of their guru, Master Shifu (Hoffman). Before they know it, however, the vengeful Tai Lung (McShane) is headed their way, and it’s up to Po to save the day. Animated.

★☆☆☆☆ Rush Hour 3 (2007)

Plot: Tucker and Chan reprise their roles for a third time as LAPD Detective James Carter and Chinese Chief Inspector Lee respectively. This time around, the two must travel to Paris to battle a wing of the Chinese organized crime family, the Triads.

The Forbidden Kingdom (2008)

    This film was released April 18, 2008.

Plot: An American teenager (Angarano) who is obsessed with Hong Kong cinema and kung-fu classics makes an extraordinary discovery in a Chinatown pawnshop: the legendary stick weapon of the Chinese sage and warrior, the Monkey King (Li). With the lost relic in hand, the teenager unexpectedly finds himself traveling back to ancient China to join a crew of warriors from martial arts lore on a dangerous quest to free the imprisoned Monkey King.

★★★☆☆ Rush Hour 2 (2001)

Plot: Reunited in Hong Kong, Det. Inspector Lee (Chan) and Det. Carter (Tucker) are looking forward to a vacation. But, when a bomb explodes at the American Embassy, they suddenly find themselves smack in the middle of another case, this one involving a beautiful assassin (Ziyi) and a mysterious mobster (Yulin).

 

★★★½☆ Rush Hour (1998)

Plot: A Chinese diplomat’s daughter has been kidnapped. LAPD Detective Carter (Tucker) is attached to the FBI for this case with a very special assignment: keep visiting Chinese police detective Lee (Chan) as far from the case as possible. Feeling used, Carter decides he’s going to break this thing wide open.

★★★½☆ Shanghai Knights (2003)

Plot: John (Chan) and Roy (Wilson) have made seperate lives for themselves since Shanghai Noon. That all changes with the arrival of John’s sister from China. She tells John that his father has been murdered, and the Imperial Seal has been stolen. John sets out to avenge his father’s death and help his sister, who Roy is falling for. With the help of Scotland Yard detective Arthur and street urchin Charlie, they must bring the killers to justice…before the killers take control of China…and England.

★★★☆☆ The Tuxedo (2002)

Plot: James Tong (Chan) is a cab driver, until he gives a ride to a lady, who invites him to become the driver for Clark Devlin (Isaacs), a secret agent. When Devlin is injured in a car accident, Tong must take his place and team up with special agent Del Blane (Hewitt) to stop Diedrich Banning (Coster), who’s trying to poison the water supply to promote his bottled water company.
