Meanwhile, Neo (Reeves) must journey into the heart of Machine City to a final confrontation with the renegade Agent Smith (Weaving) if he has any chance to fulfill his destiny and end the War against the Machines.

Plot: While Frodo (Wood) and Samwise (Astin) continue onward towards Mordor, they encounter Gollum, one of the previous owners of the ring of power. Meanwhile, Aragorn (Mortenson), Legolas (Bloom) and Gimli (Rhys-Davies) search for the two missing hobbits leads them to Gandalf (McKellen), who has been reborn as Gandalf the White. He leads them to the kingdom of Rohan, where the king is besieged by dark forces. So begins the second film of the trilogy based on the novels by J.R.R. Tolkein.

Plot: Frodo Baggins (Wood), a Hobbit of Middle-Earth, is visited by Gandalf (McKellen), a powerful wizard.
