★★★☆☆ Grindhouse Presents: Planet Terror (2007)

Plot: A doctor (Brolin) finds his graveyard shift inundated with townspeople ravaged by sores. Among the wounded is Cherry (McGowan), a dancer whose leg was ripped from her body. As the invalids quickly become enraged aggressors, Cherry and her ex-boyfriend Wray (Rodriguez) lead a team of accidental warriors into the night.

★★★★½ Sin City (2005)

Plot: Welcome to Sin City, a town full of characters. Like Hartigan (Willis), the last honest cop in town, who races to save a young girl from a psychotic son of a sentator. Or Marv (Rourke), who is determined to find out who killed his “angel”, his Goldie (King) - no matter how many bodies he leaves in his wake. Or Dwight (Owen), who is determined to help the girls of Old Towne in their fight against the mob. Based on Frank Miller’s graphic novel series of the same name.

★★½☆☆ Spy Kids 3: Game Over (2003)

Plot: Juni (Sabara) has retired from the OSS. He’s doing small jobs now for local kids to save up money to buy the latest game craze: Game Over, created by the mysterious Toymaker (Stallone). He’s forced back into the OSS when he finds out his sister Carmen (Vega) has become trapped in the game. Now Juni, with a little help from Grandpa (Montalban), must venture into the game, save his sister and stop the Toymaker.

★★★½☆ Spy Kids 2: The Island Of Lost Dreams (2002)

Plot: Carmen (Vega) and Juni (Sabara) are back. Things aren’t going well for them. They’ve got new Spy Kid agents Gary (O’Leary) and Gerdi Giggles (Osment) competing with them. When a new device, the Transmooker, is stolen from the president by mysterious henchmen, Juni is blamed and gets fired. Gary and Gerdi are given the assignment to get it back. But, Carmen and Juni need to get it back so they can clear Juni’s name. Little do they know that when they disappear, their parents (and grandparents) are hot on their trail. Now the family must get the Transmooker device back, clear Juni’s name…and do it before Gary and Gerdi do.

★★½☆☆ Once Upon A Time In Mexico (2003)

Rogue CIA Agent Sands (Depp) has a bold plan. He knows that the Mexican cartel, headed by Barillo (Dafoe), has sent General Marquez (Vigil) to affect a coup d’etat on the president of Mexico, and put Barillo in control of Mexico. Sands’ plan: send the famous El Mariachi (Banderas) to kill General Marquez, whom El has a vendetta with - after Marquez kills the president. But when Sands’ plans start to backfire, it’s up to El Mariachi to do what’s best for Mexico.
