Plot: Looking for tuition money, M.I.T. student Ben Campbell (Sturgess) is recruited to join a group of gifted students who head to Vegas each weekend. With their math professor (Spacey) leading the way, they use a system of signals and count cards to beat the odds. Though counting cards isn’t illegal, they have to stay on their toes if they are going to stay one step ahead of the casino’s security, headed by Cole Williams (Fishburne). Based on a true story.
Plot: It’s 1999, and Thomas Anderson (Reeves) is a computer programmer by day - and a hacker named Neo by night. When he is contacted by the elusive Morpheus (Fishburne), Neo is told that the year is closer to 2199 - and the world he thinks of as “real” is nothing more than a computer simulation named “The Matrix,” used to distract his brain while his body is used like a battery to power the corrupt machines of the future. Morpheus is convinced Neo is The One, a human who is prophesied to bring about the destruction of The Matrix.
Plot: Mr. Fantastic (Gruffudd) and The Invisible Woman (Alba) are about to get married…but the ceremony is interrupted by the mysterious Silver Surfer, who has been wreaking havoc across the planet. The Torch (Evans) chases after him, but is unable to stop the Silver Surfer. Since that encounter, The Torch switches powers with any of the other members of the Fantastic 4 with just a touch - including the Thing (Chiklis). To top it off, the 4 are forced to team up with arch-enemy Dr. Doom (McMahon) in order to prevent a planet-eater named Galactus from following the Silver Surfer to Earth. Based on the Marvel comic.
Plot: Tech-industrialist Max Winters (Stewart) is raising up an army of ancient monsters, and only Leonardo (Taylor), Michelangelo (Kelley), Donatello (Whitfield) and Raphael (North) can stop them! With the help of old allies April O’Neil (Gellar) and Casey Jones (Evans), the Turtles are in for the fight of their lives as they also will have to face the mysterious Foot Clan, who have allied themselves with Winters. Animated.
Plot: IMF Agent Ethan Hunt (Cruise), now a training instructor, has settled into a new life with fiancee Julie (Monaghan). When he finds out that former trainee Lindsay has been kidnapped, however, he opts to lead the team to rescue her. Plot: After his team was gunned down 8 months ago, Sgt. Jake Roenick (Hawke) is now hiding behind a desk at a dilapidated police station. His New Year’s Eve plans are about to change when he takes on Bishop (Fishburne), one of the biggest gangsters around this part of Detroit. As it turns out, he can finger a lot of dirty cops and those cops -led by squad leader Duvall (Byrne) - are going to do anything they can to stop him. A remake of the 1976 John Carpenter film.
Plot: With the machines on their way to Zion, an epic battle is about to begin for Zion’s very survival. Meanwhile, Neo (Reeves) must journey into the heart of Machine City to a final confrontation with the renegade Agent Smith (Weaving) if he has any chance to fulfill his destiny and end the War against the Machines.
Plot: Welcome to the world of underground motorcycle racing. Kid (Luke) is new to the game. He’s just a “prospect”, but he wants the big title - King of Cali. That’s going to be tough to get though. His dad (La Salle) is mechanic to the big man around here - Smoke (Fishburne). After Kid’s dad is killed in a freak accident, Kid wants the title more than ever. But, Smoke isn’t going to give it up that easily…
Plot: Neo (Reeves) is The One, the man prophecised to destroy the Matrix, a virtual reality construct designed by intelligent machines to occupy humans’ minds while they cultivate them for their energy.
