Plot:: Nick Hume is just a normal guy - he works in an office, and he’s got a loving wife and two sons. When one of his sons is killed in a gang initiation ritual, Nick sets out to avenge his son’s death by killing the man responsible. Unfortunately, the killer happens to be the gang leader’s brother - and Nick has unknowingly just started a war to the death.

Plot: Gina (Latifah) is a hair stylist. After getting fed up with the way that shop owner Jorge (Bacon) treats her, she quits and decides to open her own shop. But, will Gina’s new shop be able to survive it’s opening, or will Gina have to go crawling back to her chair at Jorge’s?

Plot: Sean, Dave and Jimmy are childhood friends when Dave is kidnapped. He escapes after four days, and they lose touch with each other. Years later, Jimmy (Penn), Dave (Robbins) and Sean (Bacon) all lead separate lives. But they are all brought back into each other’s lives by the murder of Jimmy’s daughter. Based on the novel by Dennis Lehane.
