Although the Golden Globes ceremony was cancelled due to the Writer’s Guild Strike, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association released the names of the winners starting at 9pm EST, with NBC airing the names as they were announced. Here are the nominees…and the winners.
Troy (2004)
Plot: Queen Helen of Sparta (Kruger) and Prince Paris of Troy (Bloom) fall in love. When Helen leaves Sparta with Paris, Agamemnon (Cox), ruler of most of Greece, sees the perfect opportunity to attack the most feared of the Greeks not yet under his rule: Troy. With legendary warrior Achilles (Pitt) on his team - not to mention the backing of the famous Odysseus (Bean) - he can’t lose.
