Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003)
Plot: Sinbad (Pitt) is a pirate. He’s after the Book of Peace, a mystical book that grants protection over whomever holds it, when he attacks a ship in the sea - that happens to be captained by his old friend Proteus (Fiennes). After a battle with a sea monster that suddenly attacks, Sinbad is pulled into the water where he meets Eris (Pfeiffer), the goddess of Chaos. He promises to steal the book for her but, before he can, she takes the book herself and blames him for it. Proteus volunteers to die in Sinbad’s place if Sinbad can’t retrieve the book in 10 days. Now, Sinbad must travel to Tartarus and beat Eris to recover the book, while at the same time battling with his emotions over his old friend’s actions, and his growing attraction for Proteus’ fiancee, Marina (Zeta-Jones).
