Plot: When his wife buys him a book for his birthday, dog catcher Walter Sparrow (Carrey) is unimpressed. As he reads the book, however, he begins to discover that he and the degenerate main character share some remarkable similarities. As Walter continues to read, and both he and the main character began obsessing about the number 23, the main character commits a horrible crime…and Walter becomes convinced he’s fated to follow the same path.

As it turns out, the Count is out for their inheritance - and doesn’t care about the children at all. In fact, the sooner they die, the quicker he gets the money. Based on the books “The Bad Beginning”, “The Reptile Room” and “The Wide Window” by Lemony Snicket.

★★★½☆ Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004)

Plot: Joel (Carrey) meets Clementine (Winslet). When they go through a bad breakup, Clementine decides to rid herself of Joel by having him erased from her mind in a new medical procedure. When Joel finds out, he decides to go through the same process. But, when Joel changes his mind partway through, will he be able to remember Clementine, or lose her forever?

Plot: Bruce Nolan (Carrey) isn’t having a good day. After getting passed up for a promotion at the local TV station, he gets himself fired, he gets in a fight with his girlfriend Grace (Aniston), goes for a drive to blow off steam and ends up getting in a car wreck. Convinced that God hates him, Bruce challenges God to make Himself known to him. Much to his surprise, God responds, and gives Bruce all of His powers.
