No Country For Old Men (2007)Moss (Brolin) stumbles across what looks to be a drug deal gone wrong: dead bodies, heroin - and $2 million in cash. He takes the money and tries to disappear, only to soon discover that Anton Chigurh (Bardem), a psychotic sociopath, is hot on his trail. While the Golden Globes ® this year were reduced to a short announcement show thanks to the Writer’s Strike, the Academy Awards ® were back with all their pageantry (and Jon Stewart) thanks to the recent end to the Strike.

Although the Golden Globes ceremony was cancelled due to the Writer’s Guild Strike, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association released the names of the winners starting at 9pm EST, with NBC airing the names as they were announced. Here are the nominees…and the winners.
