Plot: Alvin, Simon & Theodore are three superstar chipmunks who constantly get into trouble in between singing in their band, Alvin & The Chipmunks. And who cleans up after them? Their father/manager, David Seville (Lee), who found them abandoned on his doorstep when they were young. This CGI/live-action film is based on the cartoon show of the same name.

Plot: After an accident puts his neighbor (Buscemi) in the hospital, 13-year old DJ (Musso) and his friend Chowder (Lerner) begin to witness strange things about the now empty house. As the house’s actions get more and more worriesome, and no adults will believe them, they decide they must take things into their own hands to stop the house…before Halloween night delivers trick-or-treaters to it’s doorstep. Animated.

★★½☆☆ Dreamcatcher (2003)

Plot: Four friends are on their annual deer hunting getaway. Everything is going well until they suddenly encounter a few mysterious strangers who aren’t feeling well. As the condition of the strangers worsens, the friends are suddenly thrust into a bizarre alien encounter. These four friends are unique though, possessing special “gifts” given to them by a childhood friend, Duddits (Wahlberg). To save themselves, and quite possibly the entire planet, they must once again rely on Duddits…or all hope is lost. Based on the novel by Stephen King.

★★½☆☆ Stealing Harvard (2002)

Plot: John (Lee) has things pretty well in hand. Then, his niece Noreen (Blanchard) is accepted to Harvard, and reminds him of his promise to pay her college education. John turns to the only one he can: his friend Duff (Green), who convinces him the only way to get the money is to become a criminal.
