Given little field experience and even less time, it’s up to Smart and 99 to stop KAOS. Based on the 1965 television series.

Plot: When an old record producer friend (Woods) is killed in front of him, ex-shylock Chili Palmer (Travolta) jumps at the chance to help his friend’s wife Edie (Thurman) and become a record producer for new singer/songwriter Linda Moon (Milian). But it’s not going to be easy: his old friend’s record label is under attack from the Russian mob and a group of rapping thugs. Plus, Linda’s already got a contract with Nick Carr (Keitel). To Chili, it couldn’t be more fun. Based on the novel by Elmore Leonard.

★★★½☆ The Scorpion King (2002)

Plot: In this prequel to The Mummy series, Ancient Egypt is under attack by an evil tyrant, Memnon (Brand), who along with his sorcerer’s ability to see the future, seems to be unstoppable. The remaining free tribes of Egypt grudgingly join forces and send a trio of Akkadin assassins, led by Mathayus (The Rock), to kill this sorcerer (Hu).
