
Plot: After taking his family to Wally World and to Europe, Clark W Griswold (Chase) decides the Griswold family will stay home this Christmas, and invites the whole clan to celebrate at their house. But, as the relatives keep arriving, and things begin to not go according to plan, Clark begins to worry his hopes for the perfect holiday might not match up with reality.

Is it just me, or does it seem that Christmas decorations are appearing in stores earlier and earlier every year? It seems that just yesterday the stores waited for the day after Thanksgiving before bringing out their stock of Christmas decorations. But this year, I begin to see Christmas decorations pre-Halloween!

Plot: Since their daughter is working in the Peace Corps this holiday season, Luther Krank (Allen) convinces his wife Nora (Curtis) to skip Christmas, save their money, and go on a cruise instead. Plot: A young boy (Hanks) is awakened on Christmas Eve by a train that pulls up right outside his house. The Conductor (Hanks) tells him the train is bound for The North Pole. Doubtingly, the boy steps aboard and begins a wonderous journey aboard The Polar Express. Animated. Based on the book by Chris Van Allsburg.

Plot: When Buddy (Ferrell) was young, he was put up for adoption. After crawling into Santa’s sack, he was adopted by an elf (Newhart). 30 years later, he discovers he’s not a true elf, and forges his way to New York to meet his father (Caan). But will Buddy be able to adjust to life outside Santa’s workshop?

Plot: It’s been 8 years since Scott Calvin (Allen) became Santa Claus, after the previous Santa fell off his roof. But, it seems there’s another clause that’s been overlooked: the Mrs. Clause. It turns out that Scott needs to get married by Christmas Eve, or he stops being Santa! His son, Charlie (Lloyd) is also getting into trouble at school with the principal, Carol (Mitchell). So, Curtis the elf (Breslin) comes up with a replacement for Santa while he goes to help his son: a life-sized Santa toy! Scott has 28 days and limited magic to find a wife, help out his son, and get back to the North Pole before the Santa toy wrecks Christmas!
