Plot: Master chef Kate Armstrong (Zeta-Jones) lives her life like she runs her kitchen at a trendy Manhattan eatery—with a no-nonsense intensity that both captivates and intimidates everyone around her. Kate’s perfectionist nature is put to the test when she “inherits” her nine-year-old niece Zoe (Breslin), while contending with a brash new sous-chef (Eckhart) who joins her staff.

★★★☆☆ Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003)

Plot: Sinbad (Pitt) is a pirate. He’s after the Book of Peace, a mystical book that grants protection over whomever holds it, when he attacks a ship in the sea - that happens to be captained by his old friend Proteus (Fiennes). After a battle with a sea monster that suddenly attacks, Sinbad is pulled into the water where he meets Eris (Pfeiffer), the goddess of Chaos. He promises to steal the book for her but, before he can, she takes the book herself and blames him for it. Proteus volunteers to die in Sinbad’s place if Sinbad can’t retrieve the book in 10 days. Now, Sinbad must travel to Tartarus and beat Eris to recover the book, while at the same time battling with his emotions over his old friend’s actions, and his growing attraction for Proteus’ fiancee, Marina (Zeta-Jones). Animated.

Plot: Roxie Hart (Zellweger) has always wanted to be a star. She’s even at the club on the night famed showgirl Velma Kelly (Zeta-Jones) is arrested for murdering her sister and husband. A month later, Roxie finds herself as one of Velma’s cell mates after murdering her lover. Roxie is introduced to Velma’s hot shot lawyer Billy Flynn (Gere), and her star begins to rise, just as Velma’s begins to fall. But will Roxie be able to keep the limelight long enough to get a “not guilty” verdict out of a jury?
