Gone Baby Gone (2007)
Plot: Patrick (Affleck) and his girlfriend (Monaghan) are private investigators. They are called in by a neighbor to help search for a young girl in their Boston neighborhood that has gone missing. But, the closer they get to finding the girl, the more they discover that nothing is as it seems. In the end, they will have to risk everything if they want to bring this little girl back home to her mother. Based on the novel by Dennis Lehane.
DareDevil (2003)
Plot: Matt Murdock (Affleck) is a blind lawyer working in Hell’s Kitchen during the day…but at night he becomes the masked vigilante DareDevil, “the man without fear”. Matt is just getting to know the daughter of a wealthy businessman, Electra (Garner), when her father is killed by hit man Bullseye (Farrell) - and DareDevil is blamed. Now, DareDevil has to find who hired Bullseye - before Electra extracts her revenge on him. Based on the Marvel comic book characters.
Changing Lanes (2002)
Plot: When high-powered attorney Gavin Banok (Affleck) gets into a car accident with Doyle Gipson (Jackson), he doesn’t think much of it. Gavin tries to write a check to pay for the damages, but Gipson wants to exchange insurances. In a hurry, Gavin ends up leaving. When he gets to court (late), he realizes he has left a file with Doyle…and doesn’t even know his name.
Boiler Room (2000)
Plot: Seth Davis (Ribisi) has a successful, if illegal, business: he runs a small-time casino out of his home. Then his whole life is turned around when he meets George (Katt), a successful stockbroker at a small firm, JT Marlin. Seth is convinced to get a job at JT Marlin. He’s good at what he does there. The only problem: it may not be entirely legal.
