• Assisstant GM Teddy Long comes out and reiterates the Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon 12.16.07 that he made last week: Batista vs. Edge vs. The Undertaker. He goes on to say that MVP will also defend his United States Championship at Armageddon 12.16.07 against the man who pinned him last week, Rey Mysterio.
  • Edge interrupts and says “even a heart attack” couldn’t stop Teddy Long. He says that there will be repercussions when “the love of his life” Vickie Guerrero returns. Teddy tells him Vickie isn’t here tonight, so he’s in charge. When Edge starts to send a personal message to Vickie, Teddy asks Edge what’s wrong with his phone, and asks if Edge has anything better to do. Edge starts complaining that Teddy stripped him of the title unfairly. Teddy says the doctors told him Edge wouldn’t be back within 30 days, and Edge was gone for 4 months. Edge asks why he wasn’t able to get a one-on-one return match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Teddy says Edge cost The Undertaker a title match, and the Undertaker returned the favor, Teddy thinks Armageddon 12.16.07 evens things up. When Edge says he wants “redemption”, Teddy agrees, and makes a match for Edge against the man who Edge says injured him: Kane!

  • Backstage, ECW’s Elijah Burke is interviewed about his match against Batista. After hearing that Batista, in an interview on wwe.com, said Elijah Burke was the last thing on his mind, Burke says he’s the best ECW has to offer, and announces that he will be the first thing on Batista’s mind when he defeats Batista.

  • Backstage, Jamie Noble comes up to Michelle McCool and starts boasting about beating Chuck Palumbo twice. Michelle says he may have been lucky again next week, but at least Palumbo doesn’t have to shop at Baby Gap to find clothes that fit him. Noble makes a bet with Michelle: if he beats Palumbo tonight, Michelle will go on a date with him.

  • MVP hosts “The VIP Lounge” and talks about the upcoming release of the The Triumph and Tragedy of World Class Championship Wrestling DVD, showing classic moments from World Class Championship Wrestling. MVP introduces his guest from World Class Championship Wrestling, Freebird Michael P. S. Hayes. Hayes says that he and his WCCW friends were big partiers, but a lot of them paid the ultimate price for their partying. Hayes says that out of the 6 Von Erich brothers, only 1 is still alive to tell the tale. Hayes goes on, saying that the DVD has a strong message: Don’t do drugs, and if it helps even one person, it’s worth it.
  • MVP says Hayes is one of the survivors, and says Hayes looks good - for his age. Hayes gets in MVP’s face, and tells him to come up with some respect, quickly. MVP says that they should talk about Hayes’ thinning hairline and thickening waistline. MVP says that it’s come to his attention that Hayes has a personal friendship with The Hardys. Hayes says that’s no secret. MVP asks Hayes how it felt to watch MVP “decimate” Matt Hardy. Hayes says that when Hardy comes back, MVP is going to be in trouble.
  • Hayes says that since MVP likes talking about himself so much, they could talk about how MVP was pinned by Rey Mysterio last week, how MVP has to defend his United States Championship against Rey Mysterio at Armageddon 12.16.07…and how Hayes thinks that MVP will lose his United States Championship to Rey Mysterio.
  • MVP fires back, saying Hayes was a “third wheel” in the Fabulous Freebirds, and had to be “carried”…and as a wrestler, Hayes can’t even lace up his boots. Hayes tells MVP that he has no respect for the people who made yesterday. But, Hayes says, MVP doesn’t have to be worried about yesterday - he has to be worried about today. MVP delivers a cheap shot to Hayes, but Hayes fights back. MVP gains the upper hand eventually, delivering the Playmaker to Hayes. MVP grabs the mic again and says “nobody cares about the past, they only care about him”. Rey Mysterio comes out and attacks MVP, throwing MVP around and through the set., until MVP escapes from the ring.
  • Backstage, Batista is interviewed about the Triple Threat Match at Armageddon 12.16.07. Batista says he has never beaten Edge when the title is on the line, and everyone knows about his history with The Undertaker. Batista says he’s the World Heavyweight Champion, he’s battle-tested, and he’s ready to go.
  • Backstage, Hornswoggle is playing in Deuce N’ Domino’s car, but gets out as Deuce, Domino and Cherry show up. Finlay shows up and says that Hornswoggle wasn’t hurting anything. When Finlay asks Hornswoggle if he broke anything, Hornswoggle shakes his head. When Finlay says “go ahead”, Hornswoggle snaps the antenna off the car, then laughs as he and Finlay walk off.
  • Finlay def. Deuce after Hornswoggle’s distraction of spraying down Cherry with a fire extinguisher lets Finlay attack with the shillelagh behind the ref’s back.
  • After the match, as The Great Khali makes his way to the ring, Deuce N’ Domino attack Finlay, leaving him vulnerable to The Great Khali’s Claw as Hornswoggle watches helplessly.
  • Batista comes out to join JBL and Michael Cole at ringside for the next match.
  • Before the match, Edge addresses Vickie in her hospital bed, telling her he loves her.
  • Kane def. Edge by DQ after Edge grabs a steel chair
  • As Edge goes to attack Kane, Kane hits Edge, knocking Edge into his own chair. Kane grabs the steel steps and goes to attack Edge, but Edge knocks Kane onto the steps. Kane rises, and gets speared by Edge. Edge puts Kane on the steps and goes to hit Kane with a chair, but Batista enters the ring, making Edge pause. As the two glare at each other, the lights go off. When the lights come up again, The Undertaker has Edge gripped around the neck - and Batista spears The Undertaker.
