- Edge comes out, and says that when he had to relinquish the title due to injury, he didn’t receive one phone call, and thought about retiring. Then, about 2 months ago, he did receive a phone call…from Vickie Guerrero. Over time, they got closer and fell in love.They agreed that when he returned, he needed to make a statement - so it was all her idea that he dress up as a cameraman at Hell In A Cell. Edge says it felt good to take out his 4 months of anger and frustration on The Undertaker, but not as good as it felt to finally publicly announce his love for Vickie last week. He goes on to berate The Undertaker for attacking Vickie, telling Undertaker he shouldn’t pick on women. Edge vows to “destroy” The Undertaker, then addresses Vickie, recovering in her hospital bed, and dedicates his match to her tonight.
- Hornswoggle & Finlay def. Deuce N’ Domino in a Tag Team Match, thanks to a shillelagh attack behind the ref’s back
- Backstage, Jamie Noble tells Michelle McCool that he told her last week he was going to beat Chuck Palumbo and he did. Palumbo shows up and tells Noble it was a fluke win, and can’t wait for the rematch tonight. Noble says it wasn’t a fluke, and says he’s going to beat Palumbo again tonight.

- Backstage, Vince McMahon is talking to The Great Khali’s translator. After the translator does an imitation of Hornswoggle, Vince makes him do an impression of his uncle and of The Great Khali. The Great Khali shows up, and Vince leaves as the translator tries to explain his actions to The Great Khali.
- Batista vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship ends in No Contest.
- During the match, the lights go out. When they come up again, The Undertaker has Edge by the throat. Batista spears Edge out of The Undertaker’s hands, sending Edge outside the ring. While Edge starts scampering up the ramp, The Undertaker chokeslams Batista. Teddy Long returns, and tells Edge he deserves another shot at the World Heavyweight Championship, then quotes Vickie Guerrero from last week, saying that he’s going to give The Undertaker a title shot. Teddy Long then announces at Armageddon 12.16.07, it will be Batista vs. The Undertaker vs. Edge in a Triple Threat Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
