- Michael Cole announces that wwe.com has named The Undertaker as Batista’s opponent at Cyber Sunday 10.28.07
- Kane def. The Great Khali by DQ after The Great Khali tries to choke Kane outside the ring.
- After the match, The Great Khali continues to attack Kane, until Kane uses a ring bell on the skull of the Great Khali. Kane gets back in the ring…and Big Daddy V makes his way down the ramp. The Great Khali and Big Daddy V attack on either side of Kane, and Big Daddy V ends up standing over a defeated Kane.
- Via the teletron, Matt Striker tells the SmackDown fans that they, like ECW fans, will get to see “the most dominant force in the WWE” on a regular basis.
- Chuck Palumbo is accompanied to the ring by Michelle McCool.
- Chris Masters def. Chuck Palumbo after Palumbo is distracted when Victoria attacks Michelle McCool outside the ring.
- Backstage, MVP meets up with Matt Hardy, and says that he’s kinda sad about the two of them facing off at Cyber Sunday 10.28.07, and MVP says they need to keep their focus on what’s important: the Tag Team Championships. Matt Hardy says he’s looking forward to Cyber Sunday 10.28.07. MVP offers to come out for Matt Hardy’s match tonight against Finlay. Matt declines, and wishes MVP good luck in his match tonight against Rey Mysterio.
- Matt Hardy def. Finlay after MVP blocks Finlay’s attempt to grab his shillelagh.
- Drew McIntyre is accompanied to the ring by Dave Taylor, while Brian Major is accompanied to the ring by his brother, Brett.

- JBL enters the ring to interview Batista…and tries to entice the crowd to vote for him (over “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Mick Foley) as the special guest referee in the World Heavyweight Championship title match at Cyber Sunday 10.28.07.
- JBL says that everyone remembers the three Batista vs. Undertaker matches earlier this year…and that Batista never actually beat The Undertaker. JBL quotes from Batista’s new book, “Batista: Unleashed”, and says that Batista knows he cannot beat The Undertaker. Batista tells JBL he isn’t afraid of The Undertaker or anyone else. As Batista goes to leave, JBL walks up behind him and calls him a coward…and gets speared by Batista.
- JBL says that when he is voted the special guest referee, he will make sure Batista loses, so he can get some revenge after that attack.

- Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore def. Deuce N’ Domino in a Tag Team Match
- In the GM’s office, Jamie Noble comes to see Vickie Guerrero. Noble, still hurting from his match last week against The Great Khali, comes to apolgize…for Vickie making an irrational decision due to her “woman emotions”, and says he doesn’t hold a grudge, and wants to help out the show any way he can. Vickie says since he put it that way, he is going to be in a match tonight…against The Undertaker.
- The Undertaker def. Jamie Noble
- MVP vs. Rey Mysterio ends in No Contest when Finlay interferes. Finlay attacks Rey outside the ring, but Myterio returns the attack once the two are back in the ring, and kicks Finlay to the floor.
