Edge goes to Teddy Long’s office to tell him he’s going home. Teddy Long suggest Edge host ‘The Cutting Edge’ tonight, and says he will pick out “the biggest superstar” to ever appear on ‘The Cutting Edge’. Edge agrees.
Chris Masters def. Jimmy Wang Yang with his Masterlock.
After the match, The Great Khali comes out and powerslams Jimmy Wang Yang, before he and his translator issue an open challenge for an opponent for The Great American Bash.
Jesse & Festus are coming to SmackDown.
The Major Brothers def. Mike Fox & Jeremy Young in a Tag Team Match.

Victoria interrupts Torrie Wilson’s photo shoot. When Torrie says that there is a rumor that Victoria is crazy, Victoria attacks and the two fight until they have to be pulled apart.
Backstage, The Great Khali and his translator pick on one of the crew members. The Great Khali throws the crew member into the wall, and Khali and his translator laugh about it.

The Great Khali comes to the ring, interrupting the Eugene vs. Deuce match. After delivering a chop to Deuce and a powerslam to Eugene, The Great Khali - through his translator - says no one has accepted the challenge. Batista comes out, and is ready to fight right now, but Khali’s translator leads The Great Khali out of the ring.

Edge comes to the ring to host ‘The Cutting Edge’, without knowing who his guest is going to be. And the guest is…Kane. Edge says that if he’s not mistaken, this October will mark ‘A Decade of Dominance’ for Kane in the WWE. Plus, Kane has had success out of the ring, with his movie See No Evil (2006). But, although Kane has been WWE Champion before, his record doesn’t quite compare to Edge’s success in the ring. When Kane starts looking irritated, Edge tries to leave, but Kane grabs him and throws Edge out of the ring. Teddy Long comes out to announce that Edge will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against Kane at The Great American Bash.
