- Edge comes out, celebrating his victor over an injured Batista at Judgment Day 05.20.07. Teddy Long interrupts Edge, coming out to tell him not to celebrate too much, because he has to defend his title again at One Night Stand 06.03.07. And his opponent? The winner of a Fatal 4-Way Match tonight between Kane, Mark Henry, Finlay and Batista. And, because all the matches at One Night Stand 06.03.07 are going to be “Extreme”, Edge will defend his World Heavyweight Championship in a Steel Cage Match!
- Paul London & Brian Kendrick def. William Regal & Dave Taylor by DQ in a Tag Team Match after Domino blatantly attacks Paul London
- After the match, Dave Taylor, William Regal, Paul London, Brian Kendrick, Deuce and Domino get into a fight outside the ring
- Backstage, Edge chases Hornswoggle, who has stolen the World Heavyweight Championship - until Hornswoggle runs to Finlay. Finaly wrests the title from Hornswoggle and gives it back to Edge, telling him he can keep it - for now.
- Jillian comes out and starts singing a new “song”, but is interrupted by The Boogeyman. Jillian flees the ring, only to be thrown back into The Boogeyman’s clutches by Michelle McCool. The Boogeyman oozes worms into her hair, and Jillian runs screaming from the ring.
- Backstage, Teddy Long tells Vickie Guerrero she is now officially his new assistant.
- Matt Hardy def. The Miz
- Mark Henry says he will destroy his opponents tonight, and will show how savage he can be in the Steel Cage Match
- MVP comes out to celebrate his new United States Championship, and to tell everyone he “told you so”. MVP calls out Chris Benoit, telling him to shake MVP’s hand. Chris does, but when MVP says that isn’t enough and begins to berate Benoit, Benoit attacks, sending MVP scurrying from the ring
- Maryse introduces Timbaland’s new music video
- The network TV premiere of Timbaland’s “Throw It On Me” music video featuring The Hives & The WWE Divas
- Kane says tonight’s match will be “fatal” to his opponents and One Night Stand 06.03.07 will be Edge’s “last stand” as World Heavyweight Champion
- Jimmy Wang Yang def. Chavo Guerrero in a non-title match
- Batista tells Kristal that he agrees the match tonight is going to be “fatal” - just not for him.
- Edge joins JBL & Michael Cole at commentary
- Batista def. Finlay, Kane & Mark Henry in a #1 Contender Fatal 4-Way Match
- After the match, Edge and Batista stare each other down as the show goes off the air.
