- Rey Mysterio def. Curt Hawkins & Zach Ryder in a Handicap Match when Curt Hawkins brings a chair into the ring
- After the match, Rey ducks the chair shot by Hawkins and kicks the chair into Hawkins face before grabbing the chair and chasing Hawkins and Ryder out of the ring
- Backstage, Jesse talks about the 2 sides of Festus. Jesse says Festus is at the doctor’s office getting help on his split personality.
- Jimmy Wang Yang def. Domino while Shannon Moore takes Deuce down outside the ring
- Backstage, Noble and Palumbo are yelling at each other until Michelle McCool shows up and leads them to the ring.
- A promo for Jeff Hardy airs.
- Chuck Palumbo, Michelle McCool & Jamie Noble vs. John Morrisson, The Miz & Layla in a 6 Person Intergender Tag Team Match ends in No Contest when Palumbo and Noble start arguing in the ring - and Palumbo shoves Noble into the ropes…and Michelle McCool, which knocks her to the ground.
- Afterwards, Noble goes out to check on Michelle and calls for medics. Palumbo comes out of the ring and attacks Noble, throwing him into the ring post and delivering punch after punch to Noble. A ref tries to stop Palumbo, and Palumbo shoves the ref into the steel steps before continuing the attack on Noble. Michelle gets up and tries to restrain Palumbo, but Palumbo knocks her down, then walks away, leaving both Michelle and Noble lying on the ground.
- MVP comes to the ring. MVP says that last week he invited Ric Flair to be a guest on “his” VIP Lounge. MVP says he stated the truth when he said he was better than Flair, which apparently Flair took exception to, as MVP says Flair “delivered a cheap shot…before running away.” MVP says that after Royal Rumble, Flair will never wrestle again - and shows a fake newspaper with a headline stating “MVP better than Flair” that MVP says will show up on Monday in every newspaper across the country. MVP goes on to show what he thinks the future holds for them. For MVP, it’s winning championships and being inducted into the “Hall of Fame.” For Flair, it’s playing golf and shuffleboard before ending up in a retirement home.
- Flair comes out. Calling MVP “entertaining,” Flair says if he had to retire, he couldn’t think of a better place than Madison Square Garden. But, Flair continues, “this golf ball chippin’, shuffleboard playin’, nursin’ home patient isn’t ready to go home,” and Flair declares he’s going to beat MVP at the Royal Rumble.
- Finlay vs. The Great Khali in a Belfast Brawl ends in No Contest when Finaly brutally attacks The Great Khali with a chair and his shillelagh after The Great Khali attacks Hornswoggle
- Eve is coming to SMACKDOWN next week.
- Backstage, Mr. McMahon stops Finlay and Hornswoggle to check to see if Hornswoggle’s ok. Mr. McMahon thanks Finlay for protecting his son, then asks Finlay to leave so he can talk to Hornswoggle alone. Vince says what happened is just an inkling of what could happen to Hornswoggle in the Royal Rumble Match - and he tells Hornswoggle that in that match, he can’t trust anyone - even Finlay.
- Batista comes to the ring. Saying he’s “fired up”, he first wishes his friend Rey Mysterio good luck in his World Heavyweight Championship Match this Sunday before saying he’s putting all the other competitors on notice: Batista won his first World Heavyweight Championship after winning the 2005 Royal Rumble Match - and in 2008, Batista says, “History is going to repeat itself.”
- The Undertaker def. Big Daddy V by submission by applying a new choke hold
- After the match, Big Daddy V, bleeding from the mouth, is attended to by Matt Striker and Mark Henry, who shouts to The Undertaker that “you’ve gone too far”
