- A torch carrier is shown running along the streets before the show starts.
- JR says that his co-announcer, Jerry Lawler, is wrestling tonight, so will be joining him ringside later.
- Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring. Michaels says there are no excuses, the better man won last night. So, he’s out here tonight to congratulate Randy Orton. Randy Orton, looking a bit bruised, appears on the video screen and says he won’t fall for that. He knows Michaels is going to try to superkick him again. Michaels shrugs, and says he was, but only after he challenged Orton to a rematch. Saying he isn’t going to dignify that challenge with a response. Instead, he says that torch runner pictured earlier is running from Miami to Ft Lauderdale, and his run symbolizes the “changing of the guard” and the passing of the torch to Randy Orton. Orton says that Michaels had his chance…and now it’s all over.
- Mr. Kennedy comes to the ring. Before Kennedy can grab the mic, Michaels attacks. The two continue the fight outside the ring, with Mr. Kennedy throwing Michaels into the ring post. Mr. Kennedy rolls back into the ring, and says that it’s his turn. Michaels pulls him back out of the ring, then rolls in himself, and says that if Kennedy wants an opportunity, he can have it right now. Kennedy backs away a bit, grabs a mic, and calls Michaels a loser. Regal comes out and says if they are intent on doing this, they’re going to do it right - in a match.
- Before the match can get under way, Shawn Michaels and Mr. Kennedy attack each around the ring, making their way into the crowd and finally to the announcer’s table. Michaels is pushed into the ring by Kennedy and Kennedy grabs a steel chair. When Kennedy gets on the edge of the ring, Shawn Michaels superkicks the chair, knocking Kennedy onto the announcer’s table then to the ground.
- Despite Marella grabbing Lawler’s crown and making fun of him, Jerry Lawler def. Santino Marella
- After the match, Randy Orton comes into the ring and RKO’s Lawler. Apologizing, Orton says he just couldn’t help himself, then asks for a live view of his torch runner. Seeing that the runner is running by the Miami arena, Orton quips it “seems like only yesterday” when he beat Shawn Michaels there.
- Backstage, Todd Grisham asks Mr. Kennedy what happened between him and Michaels. Kennedy says all he went out there to do was to show his respect for Michaels and Michaels superkicked him through a chair. And the reason why? Because Michaels is watching his career end, while he sees more talent in Kennedy than he’s seen in a long while.
- Backstage, Vince McMahon, Jonathan Coachman and William Regal are standing around. When Vince asks them what their favorite parts are, they start talking about the things that happened to Hornswoggle. When Coach starts talking about Finlay interrupting the Hornswoggle/Khali match, Vince interrupts…and is interrupted himself by Carlito. Carlito says he respects tough love like Hornswoggle showed last night. Vince makes a match for tonight: Hornswoggle vs. Carlito. Carlito, Coach and Regal all start laughing, while Vince stays serious, and asks them if he said something funny.
- Jeff Hardy def. Umaga by DQ when Snitsky attacks Hardy from behind.
- After the match, Hardy starts fighting off Snitsky, until Umaga comes back into the ring to attack Hard from behind. As Snitsky and Umaga look to finish off Hardy, Triple H comes out and attacks Umaga, delivering a spinebuster to Umaga before knocking him out of the ring. Triple H turns his attention to Snitsky, and knocks him out of the ring too.
- Backstage, Todd Grisham asks Triple H why he went out to help Jeff Hardy, Triple H says that while he and Hardy don’t have much in common, they have one thing in common: respect.
- Cody Rhodes def. Hardcore Holly
- After the match, Randy Orton comes into the ring again and delivers an RKO to Cody Rhodes. When Hardcore Holly gets to his feet, Orton gives him an RKO as well. Picking up where he left off, Orton says he has another status update on his torch runner, and the runner is shown running by the “Welcome to Ft Lauderdale” sign.
- A Randy Orton championship tribute video airs.
- Finlay tells Vince he loves to fight. Vince says he hasn’t forgetten that, and he also has forgotten the surprise appearance by Finlay last night…and Vince doesn’t like surprises. Vince starts saying he’s just as Irish as Finlay, and falters a bit before admitting where he was born (Finlay says he was born in Belfast). Vince says they should go out for a drink after. Finlay says sure, and he’ll buy Vince a nice big glass of warm milk, the perfect drink for a “person of Vince’s age” before bed. When Vince gets upset, Finlay just laughs and says he was kidding. Finlay leaves, with Vince looking after him oddly.
- Ric Flair will be on RAW next Monday.
- JR announces that Linda McMahon has been chosen as one of CableWorld’s 2007 list of the Most Powerful Women On Cable
- Melina & Jillian Hall make their way to the ring. Jillian says hello to Miami (not Ft Lauderdale), then sees Jon Secada in the audience, who is there to promote the duet he did with Lillian Garcia on her new album. Jillian breaks into a horrible rendition of “Conga”, then screams when attempting to sing opera.
- Mickie James & Maria def. Jillian Hall and Melina in a Divas Tag Team Match
- Hornswoggle def. Carlito in a No DQ Match thanks to help from Finlay.
- After the match, Hornswoggle grabs Carlito’s apple, takes a bite, and spits it into Carlito’s face.
- The torch bearer has arrived outside the arena.
- Randy Orton is in the ring, and the screen shows the torch carrier running into the building…and getting knocked down by someone who stands with his back to the screen! The “Save_Us.X29″ code shows up on the screen again, and it’s translated to “Save_Us.Y2J”! Chris Jericho, with short hair, announces that this is the “2nd Coming” of Y2J as the fans chant his name. Orton cuts him off, and says the last time he saw Jericho, he was getting fired from RAW. Orton asks why he’s come back, and what exactly he’s saving us from. Jericho, after picking on pretty much everything about Orton, says he’s here to save us from Orton…and once he takes the WWE Championship things will never - EVER - be the same again.
