- Coach is in the ring, surrounded by security. Coach says that due to Randy Orton’s thoughtless actions, Randy Orton has been suspended indefinitely.
- Coach then introduces Vince McMahon, who says people in their positions should be respected, and is sick of Triple H disrespecting him. But that ends tonight, because Vince will hit Triple H where it hurts him most, in the win/loss column, because Carlito will be joined by Vince McMahon himself in his Steel Cage Match against Triple H.
- Vince goes on to say that he owes someone an apology: his son, Hornswoggle, who comes to the ring. Vince gets down on his knee and apologizes to Hornswoggle. Vince and Hornswoggle say they love each other Vince says that the women are flocking to Hornswoggle since they found out he was a McMahon…and one lady in particular: Melina. Melina comes out, wearing a green dress, and tells Hornswoggle she thinks he’s “really cute” and asks him out. Hornswoggle hesitates, then jumps on Melina. Vince and Coach pull Hornswoggle off of her, and tells them to go have a drink together.
- As Melina and Hornswoggle walk out, Coach asks Vince to be the permanent GM of RAW…but he’s interrupted by John Cena, who stalks around the ring, throws a couple of chairs into the ring, then - despite Coach’s threats to strip him of his title, attacks Vince and Coach, until he is restrained by security. Vince says that they are going to have a “Championship Surrender Ceremony” to strip Cena of his WWE Championship. And during that “Ceremony”, Cena will have to beg and plead to keep his title…and it will be up to Coach to decided if he does.
- Hardcore Holly returns to RAW, telling Cody Rhodes that he has to “earn” Hardcore’s respect before their match starts.

- “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is in New York City to sign copies of The Condemned (2007)
- In a interview earlier today, Randy Orton congratulates Cena on being the biggest phony in WWE, and he took the easy way out by getting himself intentionally disqualified at Unforgiven 09.16.07. He goes on to yell at Mr. Cena, calling him a “bum”, and says he enjoyed beating him up last week, then goes on to talk about their Last Man Standing Match at No Mercy 10.07.07
- Ron Simmons def. Santino Marella by count-out when Santino quits in the middle of the match
- The Undertaker returns to SmackDown this Friday.
- Tara wins the 2nd 2007 Diva Finalists Contest: The Limbo on wwe.com. Next contest: Obstacle Course
- Jillian runs into Melina backstage, and Melina admits to her that she made a deal with Jonathan Coachman: she goes out with Hornswoggle, he gives her a shot at the Women’s Championship. Melina excuses herself to go wash the smell of Hornswoggle off of her.
- The Highlanders ask Cade and Murdoch to give them a shot at the Tag Team Championships. Cade apologizes, saying Coach makes the matches, and tonight they are facing London & Kendrick. The Highlanders say that they’ll agree to any stipulation they choose, including a Kilts On A Pole Match. When Murdoch asks what they’d be wearing if their kilts were on a pole, The Highlanders show him.
- Mr. McMahon & Carlito def. Triple H in a Steel Cage Match when Mr. McMahon escapes from the cage.
- After the match, Triple H yells at Mr. McMahon as Vince walks up the ramp gloating. Angry, Triple H climbs down from the top of the cage, turns around - and notices Carlito is still in the cage with him. He takes out his anger on Carlito, tossing him around the cage, then Pedigree’s Carlito onto a steel chair.
- Paul London & Brian Kendrick def. Lance Cade & Trevor Murdoch in a Tag Team Match by DQ after The Highlanders attack London & Kendrick
- Hornswoggle shows up in the women’s locker as Melina is showering and hands her a towel. Hornswoggle chases after Melina as she runs screaming, eventually grabbing Melina’s towel and running off with it.
- Coach comes into the office where Vince is. Coach suggests Vince leave, because Triple H is looking for him. Vince says he’s got the psychological advantage over Triple H, and he isn’t worried. Coach leaves…and Vince starts packing his bags as fast as possible.
- Santino puts down The Condemned (2007) as “Stone Cold” and the rest of the cast and crew talk about Austin’s character in the film, Jack Conrad.
- Vince throws open the door to his office - and Triple H is standing there. Triple H challenges Vince to a match next week on RAW. Triple H taunts Vince until he agrees.
- Beth Phoenix & Shelton Benjamin def. “Milwaukee’s Own” Candice Michelle & Jeff Hardy in a Mixed Tag Team Match
- Coach is talking to reporters backstage, saying that he gets to decide whether Cena will be stripped of his title tonight. He goes on to say that when he said he suspended Randy Orton “indefinitely”, it actually meant 24 hours, and Coach wishes he could have done to Cena’s dad what Randy Orton did last week. Coach hopes that Mr. Cena is watching tonight to possibly watch his son get stripped of the title.
- Coach is in the ring, along with a bunch of security. Coach says Cena brought this on himself, then calls out Cena. Coach tells Cena he’s going to give him one chance to save the title, and he wants Cena to beg him to keep the title. Cena refuses. Coach and the security guards face off against Cena, but before they can take the Championship from Cena, Lillian interrupts to say that she has just been informed, per Mr. McMahon, that John Cena will not be stripped of his Championship…plus, there will be a Main Event Match now…Cena vs. Coach in a Tables Match
- John Cena def. Coach in a Tables Match
- After the match, Hornswoggle shows up at the top of the ring. John Cena grabs a mic and says “Thank You, Mr. McMahon”, to which Hornswoggle smiles and points at Cena.
