• Tonight’s RAW is 3-Hours Long and will kick off the 2008 WWE Draft. During the night, wrestlers from different brands will compete in matches, with the winner winning a draft pick for their brand, to be chosen immediately after the match.

  • Draft Pick #1 (RAW): Rey Mysterio
  • Million Dollar Mania: Mr. McMahon says tonight 5 people will win $100,000, while 1 person at the end of the night will win $500,000. Kelly Kelly comes out and helps Mr. McMahon give $100,000 to Crystal Vega when she says the password is “Night Of Champions.” After Vince says the password is incorrect, Kelly Kelly corrects him and dances to celebrate Crystal’s win.
  • Backstage, Triple H is congratulating Rey. John Cena shows up and congratulates Rey.
  • Cena says that Triple H has a weird way of saying thank you. He comes down to help last week and he ends up getting beaten up by Triple H.
  • Triple H says he doesn’t need Cena’s help. Triple H says he has never gotten over Cena beating him 2 years ago, because he knows he’s better than Cena.
  • Cena tells him “if you wanna be The Man, you gotta beat The Man,” with Triple H coming back with “until you have this (the WWE Championship), you’re nothing.”
  • SMACKDOWN’s Hornswoggle & Finlay def. RAW’s Santino Marella & Carlito in a Tag Team Match
  • Draft Pick #2 (SmackDown): Jeff Hardy
  • Mr. McMahon brings out Randy Orton. Randy Orton, his arm in a sling, says he had to be here since he is eligible for the Draft. He then tells Triple H and John Cena that when he comes back, he will be WWE Champion again. He tells Vince he isn’t in the mood to give away money.
  • Mr. McMahon says he’s in the mood to give away money, and in the mood to give away the main event. He announces tonight it will be Edge vs. John Cena!
  • Million Dollar Mania: Mr. McMahon calls Samira and gives her $100,000. Before she goes, Vince asks her who she thinks is going to win the match between Triple H & John Cena at Night of Champions. Her answer: Triple H.
  • RAW’s Hardcore Holly & Cody Rhodes def. ECW’s Chavo Guerrero & Bam Neely in a Tag Team Match while Ted DiBiase Jr. assists Jerry Lawler and Mike Adamle on commentary.
  • Draft Pick #3 (RAW): CM Punk
  • Chris Jericho comes to the ring and says the fans have been “brainwashed” into thinking Shawn Michaels is a decent human being. He says he keeps telling the truth - and he keeps getting booed. Chris Jericho shows Michaels’ history of lying, including Michaels’ attacks on Hulk Hogan, John Cena, etc. Jericho says that there is only one man who is “honest” like he is: Lance Cade.
  • Lance Cade shows up on the trinitron and says he is the “greatest wrestler” to come out of Shawn Michael’s wrestler training camp. Lance says he knows Shawn was going to turn on him, so that’s why he’s siding with Jericho - because Jericho is someone he trusts.
  • Jericho says he still doesn’t have an opponent at Night Of Champions, and he would love to defend his Intercontinental Championship against Michaels, but Michaels hasn’t recovered yet from what Jericho did to him on RAW 06.09.08.
  • A bandaged Shawn Michaels comes out and attacks Jericho, knocking Jericho out of the ring. Jericho gains the upper hand when he throws Michaels eye first into the corner of the announce table, causing Michaels to writhe in pain while Jericho backs off.
  • After The Miz & John Morrison come out for their match. Vickie Guerrero comes out and says their opponents were originally supposed to be Curt Hawkins & Zack Ryder, but recent developments have caused her to change her mind.
  • ECW’s John Morrison & The Miz def. SMACKDOWN’s reunited Hardy Boyz in a Tag Team Match thanks to a distraction from The Miz
  • Draft Pick #4 (ECW): Matt Hardy - and he’s bringing his United States Championship with him!
  • The Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08 DVD is the #1 Sports DVD.
  • Million Dollar Mania: Mr. McMahon has Ric Flair help him call Donna and give her $100,000. Vince asks Ric Flair to give him one word: “Wooo!”
  • RAW’s Mickie James & Melina vs. SMACKDOWN’s Natalia & Victoria in a Divas Tag Team Match ends in double DQ after Melina injures her ankle and Natalia & Victoria attack her and Mickie James outside the ring.
  • It’s announced that because of the double disqualification, both RAW & SMACKDOWN will get announcer draft picks.
  • Draft Pick #5 (SmackDown): “Good ol’ JR” Jim Ross
  • Draft Pick #6 (RAW): Michael Cole
  • Melina is carried from the ring by officials with tears in her eyes.
  • Million Dollar Mania: Mr. McMahon brings out The Great Khali to help him give away $100,000 and mentions The Great Khali is appearing in Get Smart (2008). The first number is picked up with a “wrong number, Vince.” The second number is answered by Justin, who wins $100,000 as Khali shouts unintelligibly into the phone.
  • RAW’s John Cena def. SMACKDOWN’s Edge by count-out when Edge refuses to get back in the ring
  • After the match, Batista attacks the retreating Edge.
  • Draft Pick #7 (RAW): Batista
  • The Rock: The Most Electrifying Man in Sports Entertainment now on DVD
  • As Vickie Guerrero and Edge celebrate in the back, Mr. McMahon tells Edge and Vickie that the matches at Night of Champions are still on, so Batista will still face Edge for the World Heavyweight Champion, and then lets them know that either of them could still be drafted tonight, causing Vickie to freak out.
  • SMACKDOWN’s MVP def. ECW’s Tommy Dreamer as Colin Delaney watches from ringside.
  • Draft Pick #8 (SmackDown): Umaga
  • Umaga comes out and attacks Tommy Dreamer. Colin Delaney gets in the ring and gets beaten up by Umaga as well.
  • RAW’s JBL def. ECW’s Kofi Kingston
  • Draft Pick #9 (RAW): Kane - and he’s bringing his ECW Championship with him!
  • Million Dollar Mania: Vanessa, who is in the RAW audience, is called by Mr. McMahon and wins $100,000!
  • SMACKDOWN’s Edge wins the 15-Man Tri-Branded Battle Royal

  • Suddenly, sparks fly out of the stage, and the stage collapses under Mr. McMahon. He gets up - and another piece of the stage collapses on him!
  • The wrestlers go to help lift the stage up, but are unable to. Officials and wrestlers help pull Mr. McMahon out from under the wreckage as Vince mutters “what happened?” Vince says he “can’t feel his legs” as RAW goes off the air.
