• Mr. McMahon says that after GM William Regal pulled the plug on RAW during the WWE Championship Match, fans demanded Mr. McMahon come to RAW and respond…and he’s here to say that he thinks Regal’s actions are innovative and daring, and he endorses them 100%.
  • Regal comes to the ring, saying the fans may not like him, but they will respect him. As the fans boo and chant “Regal sucks,” Regal again turns the lights out. He turns the lights back on a little while later and says he’s prepared to keep the lights off all night, since he will not tolerate any more disrespect.
  • Mr. Kennedy comes to the ring and tells Regal if he wants respect so badly, all he has to do is accept Kennedy’s challenge for a 1-on-1 match tonight. Regal tells Kennedy he’s not going to be facing Regal tonight. Instead, Kennedy will take on Kane, CM Punk, John Morrison & The Miz…in fact, the entire ECW roster.
  • Triple H comes to the ring, saying he has some advice for GM Regal - don’t make mistakes. Interrupting his Championship Match last week - a mistake. Disrespecting Triple H - a mistake. Triple H tells Regal if he wants to keep his newfound power, he doesn’t want to make another mistake by going to war with Triple H.
  • Regal, mocking Triple H, says Triple H is going to be too busy for a war. Not only does he have to defend his WWE Championship in 2 weeks in a Steel Cage Match at Judgment Day, Triple H is now part of the main event, making it him and Mr. Kennedy vs. the ECW roster.
  • Mickie James def. Beth Phoenix in a Lumberjack Match to retain her Women’s Championship after Melina accidentally hits Beth Phoenix with the championship belt.
  • Backstage, Chris Jericho comes into Regal’s office. Regal asks if Jericho still believes Michaels is faking his knee injury. When Chris Jericho says “yes,” Regal says he won’t have any trouble then tonight, as Jericho and Michaels will team up to take on John Morrison & The Miz.
  • Backstage, Trevor Murdoch is singing. He turns and begins singing to Trish Stratus (!). Ron Simmons comes up and puts his 2 cents in.
  • Elsewhere, Todd Grisham asks Randy Orton about Regal cutting his match short last week. Orton says he may not approve, but he respects Regal’s decision as General Manager. Orton continues, saying he will defeat CM Punk tonight, and then at Judgment Day, the “Age Of Orton” will resume.
  • Regal comes out before the next match and tells JR that he is being replaced at announcing for the match by Mike Adamle.
  • Katie Lea & Paul Burchill def. John Cutler in a 2-On-1 Handicap Match
  • Backstage, Jericho tells Michaels he knows Michaels is faking, and he better deliver tonight when Jericho tags him in. Michaels says he isn’t faking, but he will have Jericho’s back tonight.
  • Chris Jericho & Shawn Michaels def. John Morrison & The Miz in a Tag Team Match thanks to a superkick from Michaels, who writhes in pain after the match.
  • Randy Orton vs. CM Punk ends when Regal comes out and shuts off the lights.
  • Todd Grisham catches up with Orton backstage. Orton says he already said earlier he had no problem with Regal’s decision last week - and Regal went and ended his match again! Orton says he’s off to Regal’s office to confront him about it.
  • Carlito is in the ring, and recaps last Monday’s incident when Rowdy Roddy Piper slapped Santino Marella. Carlito invites Piper to join him for Carlito’s Cabana. Piper comes out and Carlito says that while he knows Santino can be annoying, Piper took things too far.
  • Piper says another man may have done something different, but he’s beat Mr. T, Hulk Hogan and cancer - and he’s always done it his way.
  • Santino comes out and starts berating Piper until Cody Rhodes comes out. Cody says that is no way to treat a Hall-Of-Famer, and Santino and Carlito should back off before someone gets hurt. Carlito tells Cody to stay out it, since Cody doesn’t have Hardcore Holly to back him up tonight.
  • Cody says he knows Hardcore isn’t here, but he knows there are 2 guys dying to meet Rowdy Roddy Piper - Cryme Tyme!
  • As Cody and Cryme Tyme make their way to the ring, Santino and Carlito back off. Once in the ring, Cryme Type starts up a chant of “Rowdy, Rowdy, Yeah, Yeah” as Piper does a jig.

  • JBL invites the camera into his stretch limo for the first time ever. Once inside his limo, JBL extolls it’s many virtues, then says that John Cena likes cars too - only difference is, JBL rides in the back. JBL tells John Cena that for stealing his championship shot from him, JBL is going to treat Cena to a 120-mph car wreck at Judgment Day.
  • Getting out of the limo, JBL berates his opponent for tonight, DH Smith, saying The Hart Foundation, his father or even God can help him tonight.
  • JBL def. DH Smith
  • After the match, JBL continues to assault DH Smith until the refs are finally able to restrain him.
  • In his office, William Regal tells the ECW Superstars they need to put aside their squabbles for tonight and go out and teach Mr. Kennedy and Triple H a lesson for him. He says he won’t turn out the lights, but he does expect a victory. As the Superstars are leaving, Kane pauses and stares down Regal before walking off.

  • Chavo Guerrero and the rest of the ECW roster def. Mr. Kennedy & Triple H in a 14-On-2 Handicap Match
  • After the match, Triple H continues fighting with ECW. Mike Knox grabs a chair, but Triple H takes it and begins laying out Superstars. The lights go off as the crowd boos. When the lights come on again, Randy Orton is in the ring, and delivers an RKO to Triple H.
