- Tonight is a special Wrestlemania Rewind Night on a 3-hour RAW
- Ric Flair comes to the ring. He says last week Michaels stated he doesn’t want to face Flair, and told Flair if he was pushed, the showstopper would stop Flair’s show. Flair calls out Shawn Michaels and tells him that last week he felt respect and sympathy from Michaels. Flair says he doesn’t want to stay in the ring if he can’t wrestle with the best - and at Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08, he wants Michaels to bring the showstopper to the show.
- Michaels says he has been in the greatest Wrestlemania moments in history…and whether Flair’s show gets stopped or his show continues, the two of them are going to steal the show.
- Before he leaves, Michaels said he heard Flair is going to be in a 3-On-1 Steel Cage Match with Edge and his 2 “Edge guys”, and Michaels wanted to let Flair know that he’s going to do his best to make sure Flair doesn’t have to go into that alone.
- Randy Orton comes out, and says that while that was such a touching moment, he just can’t leave it at that, because Regal put Orton in charge tonight for his part in the Triple Threat Showdown. Tonight, Orton says, Triple H will face Kane, and John Cena will face the showstopper, Shawn Michaels.
- The Undertaker def. Mark Henry in a Casket Match
- In an interview earlier today, Triple H says Wrestlemania 23: All Grown Up was supposed to be the Cena/Triple H rematch - but Triple had to watch from the sidelines thanks to an injury. When Triple H returned, Cena was gone, and Triple H became an 11-Time Champion - only to have that cut short by Randy Orton, who has never given him a rematch. So, at Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08, Triple H says, he’s going to fight Orton and Cena for the championship as if his life depended on it - because as far as he’s concerned, it does.
- JBL comes on the Trinitron and says he’s accepted Finlay’s challenge for a match at Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08, and it’s going to be a Belfast Brawl. JBL says that’s perfect, because not only will he beat Finlay at his own game, he’ll be able to put Finlay in the hospital next to his “mutant” son.
- Mr. Kennedy def. Finlay by DQ when Finlay starts the match with a shillelagh attack. After being disqualified, Finlay continues his attack on Kennedy.
- Chris Jericho def. Jeff Hardy to become the new Intercontinental Champion
- Nikolai Volkov & The Iron Sheik are about to face the US Express when Jillian comes out. She insults them all, saying they are too old, until Mike Rolodono stops Jillian from singing by picking her up and putting her in an Airplane Spin.
- The newest Class of 2008 Hall Of Fame inductees: Jack and Jerry Brisco.
- Backstage, Randy Orton comes up to Kane and says he knows Triple H has beaten Kane a lot in the past -even unmasking Kane on national television. Kane grabs Orton by the neck and says he doesn’t need a history lesson when it comes to Triple H.
- Triple H def. Kane despite distractions from Randy Orton
- John Cena says that Wrestlemania means everything to him. He wasn’t even supposed to back until October, but he put everything on the line to come back in January for a chance to be in the show. Everybody says he should be angry with Randy Orton, but Cena thanks him, saying that he’d become complacent. After having everything taken away from him, he knows what that feels like, and he can’t wait for Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08. He knows what it’s like to have his hand raised there, and he says that come Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08, his time will come again.
- Melina comes to the ring, accompanied by Beth Phoenix. Melina says that she was looking forward to beating Ashley again, but it turns out she is injured and can’t compete - proving again, Melina says, that she’s a Playboy cover girl with nothing on the inside. Melina says that instead, they are going to have a Wrestlmania pre-match, and Melina is going to prove once again she’s “not just a pretty face.”
- Melina def. Maria after Santino Marella comes out and rips a copy of Maria’s Playboy in front of her.
- After the match, Santino gets in the ring and continues to rip the Playboy, scattering the shreds over the fallen Maria. Candice Michelle gets in the ring, but is immediately knocked down by Beth Phoenix, before Santino, Maria and Beth Phoenix celebrate.
- Shane McMahon comes to the ring for the official Mayweather/Big Show weigh-in. First up, he introduces The Big Show, then Floyd “Money” Mayweather. Mayweather gets on the scale first, and weighs in at 159 lbs. The Big Show gets on the scale, weighing in at 441 lbs. When Shane asks the two of them to get together for a photo-op, The Big Show grabs the mic.
- Big Show says Mayweather has brought his posse, so Big Show would like to bring out his posse - and calls out superstars from RAW, SMACKDOWN and ECW to surround the ring. Big Show tells Mayweather that he told him last week no one in the locker room likes him, and when they found out he was going to be there, the superstars wanted to come out and look at the 20 million dollar man. Big Show asks Mayweather if the money is worth it, because it’s going to be 1 of 2 scenarios. Either Big Show takes pity on Mayweather and just embarrasses Mayweather. Or, if Mayweather keeps disrespecting Big Show, Big Show will guarantee he’ll hurt Mayweather bad enough to make it so he never fights again. Calling Mayweather a “little runt,” Big Show says it’s up to him, and tosses the mic to Mayweather.
- Mayweather says he respects what Big Show has done in the WWE, but he doesn’t respect Big Show as a human being. Mayweather takes some money out of his pocket and tosses it on the ground. Show picks it up and hands it to some of the wrestlers outside the ring. Mayweather says that at Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08 he will break The Big Show’s jaw and tosses some more money at Big Show. Big Show picks Mayweather up and tosses him over the top rope into a couple of the wrestlers outside the ring. Mayweather’s posse rushes out of the ring, pushing and shoving at the wrestlers, with Shane getting knocked down in the melee, as The Big Show clears the ring.
- Randy Orton says you combine the attributes of Triple H and John Cena, you get Randy Orton. The only difference is that he has one thing that neither Cena or Triple H has: the WWE Championship
- World Heavyweight Champion Edge def. CM Punk after a distraction from Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder
- GM William Regal comes to the ring and says that at Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08 it will be a RAW vs. SMACKDOWN battle for brand supremacy. Regal says it actually won’t be a battle, because there is no doubt as to the outcome, with Umaga representing RAW.
- A promo is shown for Umaga before Regal brings him to the ring. Regal says he pities SMACKDOWN’s Batista, because no one can stop Umaga.
- Batista comes to the ring and almost immediately begins trading blows with Umaga. Umaga knocks down Batista and goes for the Samoan Spike, but Batista avoids it, delivering a Spinebuster of his own before Umaga rolls out of the ring.
- Vince McMahon is getting a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame this Friday at 11:30am.
- JR announces that Floyd Mayweather Jr. was injured during his confrontation with The Big Show earlier. More details will be forthcoming.
- It’s WWE night on Larry King Live this Thursday night.
- John Cena vs. Shawn Michaels ends in No Contest when Orton interferes, throwing Shawn Michaels into a ringpost.
- After the match, Orton grabs Cena and pushes him into the ring before setting up a chair. Orton goes to deliver the RKO onto a chair to Cena, but Cena counters, and Orton lands on the chair himself. Orton gets up and Cena delivers a precarious FU to Orton.
- Backstage, Triple H says it’s been an entertaining couple of weeks, with Cena in charge on RAW 03.03.08 and now Orton in charge this week. But, next week, it’s Triple H’s turn, and he’s got a great show planned. Next week, Cena and Orton are going to be in the ring together - but not as opponents, as tag team partners! And their opponents? The entire RAW roster!
