the Mind’s Chew Toy

As of today, the old PezXPress has now officially become The Mind’s Chew Toy. We’ve still got a little updating to do (mostly on external sites), but thanks to WordPress.org, we were able to move all of our information from PezXPress to The Mind’s Chew Toy fairly easily.

We’ve also switched away from what seemed to be a rather slow godaddy.com to try out a new host, hostgator.com. Hopefully this new host will help us keep the site moving a bit quicker than the old PezXPress.

So why did we change the name? Honestly, PezXPress (aside from using a copyrighted name in the title) narrowed the aspect of the site a bit too much. With PezXPress, all visitors would be expecting would be PEZ, PEZ and some more PEZ. While we do have a whole section devoted to just that, we have also branched out over the years, adding webmaster information and tons of movie reviews, previews, videos and the like.

So why The Mind’s Chew Toy? Well, Bloo.com was already taken.

Actually, as we were sitting around trying to come up with a new name, our miniature dachshund Lexi was chewing on her latest toy…and a bit of brainstorming later, The Mind’s Chew Toy was born!

So, now we can be reached at pezxpress.com and themindschewtoy.com!

PS…For those WordPress fans out there, we’re now using the Just Blue theme by gio.

UPDATE: We’ve recently switched themes (again) and are now using a heavily-modified 2C Right by Guido W. Stiehle.
