Synopsis:
A group of med students, doing their pathology residency at the University of of Pennsylvania, compete in a game to see who can commit the perfect murder. When new resident Ted Gray (Ventimiglia) arrives, he soon finds himself caught up in the deadly game.
Our Thoughts:
Whie Milo Ventimiglia has been around for awhile, he didn’t really hit the big time until he starred in a little TV show on NBC called “Heroes” that became a phenomenon. As Peter Petrelli, his fame suddenly skyrocketed more than ever before in his career - so much so in fact that he got a part in the newest Rocky movie, Rocky Balboa (2006), and now he gets the lead in an upcoming horror film, Pathology.
While the previews make this look intriguing, and seeing Milo Ventimiglia take on the lead reins of a film sounds like something that could be good, we’re probably going to wait for DVD for this one.
Another reason to check out the film (at least on DVD): Alyssa Milano. While her career suddenly got a second wind with the hit TV show “Charmed”, she has once again disappeared off the map recently, so it will be interesting to see if she’ll be able to keep her name in lights this second-time around.
Both her and Milo have a lot hanging on this film, so let’s hope it’s a good one. While Milo’s career should survive thanks to the continuing popularity of “Heroes“, Alyssa may find herself once again as the Queen of reruns…and not much else.
