the Mind’s Chew Toy

Since both my mom and Heather’s mom own miniature dachshunds, we had both grown up with them, and knew that we wanted one. But with both Bozeman (my mom’s dachshund) and Barney (Heather’s mom’s dog) being of the brown-and-tan variety, we had already decided to get a red mini dachshund when it came time - but money shortages and our recent move had prevented us - until now. With the wedding now behind us, we had a little extra cash, so when someone at work mentioned that their sister was selling a red miniature dachshund puppy, we leaped at the chance. Shortly after our move then, we welcomed Lexi into our home.

Though there have been a few trials and tribulations with our new family member. her winning personality and charming good looks won us over from day 1 - and we would never trade the experience for anything.

Now, if only we can train her to help with the website…
