- Mr. McMahon and William Regal make their way to the ring and re-iterate that a new WWE Champion will be crowned tonight, since John Cena was stripped of his title and will be out for 6 months to a year. They then name Randy Orton as the new WWE Champion, and tell him he must defend the title tonight. Triple H comes out and challenges Randy Orton to a match. The crowd cheers, but Orton says no. Triple H tells Vince that he should give the fans what they want, and Vince gives in.

- Backstage, Triple H is hanging out with Batista. Mr. McMahon comes up and tells Triple H his match against Umaga tonight will be for Triple H’s new WWE Championship.
- CM Punk def. Big Daddy V by DQ to retain his ECW Championship after Matt Striker interferes.
- Triple H def. Umaga to retain his WWE Championship
- Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay ends in No Contest
- Backstage, Mr. McMahon comes up to Triple H, and says that Randy Orton has invoked his rematch clause tonight for the WWE Championship…and it will be a Last Man Standing Match.
- Beth Phoenix def. Candice Michelle to become the new Women’s Champion
- Batista escapes from both walls of the Punjabi Prison Match, so def. The Great Khali and retains his World Heavyweight Championship
- Backstage, Todd Grisham asks Triple H if he has anything left. Triple H answers “The Game is just getting started.”
- Randy Orton def. Triple H in a Last Man Standing Match to become the new WWE Champion
