Synopsis:

On their way back to New York by plane, the 4 former city zoo denizens crash-land in Africa, and meet some relatives of Alex (Stiller).

Our Thoughts:

I’ve been psyched for this one since the first time I heard about it. After the fun and originality of the original Madagascar, a sequel seemed not only inevitable, but sounded like a good idea. Then, the first announcement of the plot was unveiled, and it sounded even better.

It looks to me as if the plot will again focus on the unlikely relationship of Marty the zebra and Alex the lion, especially with more of Alex’s kin showing up for this sequel. Probably, Alex will have to defend his friendship to Marty in front of his family.

See, I’m coming up with plot ideas already! Since those writers over at Dreamworks have tons more experience in the field, I’m sure they’ll be able to stretch the fun over another movie (or two, since the idea of a possible third film is already being bounced around).
