  • Backstage, Batista tells Shawn Michaels that he promised he would hurt Shawn if he was lying about his injury. It won’t be tonight…but it’s coming.
  • The Undertaker vs. Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship ends in No Contest. After Edge fails to get back in the ring before a count of 10, the ref is about to call the match and award the title to The Undertaker when Vickie Guerrero comes out. She says the title can only be won via pinfall or submission, not by count-out, so the title remains vacant.
  • MVP comes out and says the him not having a match tonight is not only disrespectful, it’s bad for business. He issues an open challenge to the superstars in the back. Matt Hardy comes out, and MVP tells him to get in the ring, and bring his title with him. Matt Hardy says he already proved he’s better than MVP, but there’s someone else tonight who wants to prove it: Jeff Hardy.
