Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull (2008)
Synopsis:
In this fourth installment, Indiana Jones (Ford) returns once again to action. This time, it’s 1957 and the daring Dr. Jones must venture into the jungles of South America in a race against Soviet agents to find the mystical Crystal Skull.
Our Thoughts:
Harrison Ford returns to the screen once more as Indiana Jones! That should be exciting, especially with Stephen Spielberg and George Lucas again in the shadows.
But, has Mr. Ford gotten too old to bare chest and carry a bullwhip? Probably. From the latest rumors, it seems that his son will be taking over for him. Great. Hopefully this won’t become some silly kid spin-off that ruins the previous films for all the fans.
Let’s hope Spielberg, Lucas and Ford are able to bring back the character we know and love - and give fans the chance to give their favorite adventurer a great send-off in what will probably be his last film.
My prediction? Unless things go horribly wrong between now and May 2008, people will line up around the block to see this one.
