Synopsis:

Firefighters Chuck (Sandler) and Larry (James) are two guy’s guys, and best friends. Chuck owes Larry his life, so when red tape prevents Larry from naming his 2 kids as his beneficiaries, Chuck agrees to sign a few forms claiming he’s Larry’s domestic partner. But when a city official becomes suspicious, the new couple’s arrangement becomes big-time news - and suddenly they have to act like love-struck newlyweds.

Our Thoughts:

Surprisingly, Kevin James was able to transfer his lack of comedy on the small screen in “The King Of Queens” to some actual comedy on the big screen in Hitch (2005). But will Sandler be able to bring out the same funnyman Will Smith was able to, or will this film be just as annoying as watching an hour and a half of “The King Of Queens”?

Hopefully, the supporting cast - especially Ving Rhames and Steve Buscemi - won’t let it get that bad…but just in case, I think I’ll wait for the DVD to find out.
