- Mr. McMahon makes his way to the ring for a major announcement. He says that on Monday Night RAW, John Cena suffered a debilitating injury, requiring immediate surgery for a torn pectoral muscle. He shows a recap of what happened last night, then says that surgeons have informed him that John Cena will be oout of action for 6 months to 1 year, so, as of this moment, John Cena is no longer WWE Champion. Mr. McMahon goes on to say that this Sunday at No Mercy 10.07.07, there will be a WWE Championship Match, with the winner becoming the new WWE Champion.
- CM Punk ccomes out to say that while he should be concentrating on who he will face at No Mercy 10.07.07, but instead he can’t stop thinking about Big Daddy V’s sneak attack last week. Matt Stryker and Big Daddy V interrupt CM Punk via the video screen, and state that Big Daddy V will pay no mind to CM Punk until he faces him for the >ECW Championship, and they wish CM Punk good luck in his next match, which is right now.
- CM Punk def. Mike Knox
- Balls Mahoney comes to the ring, and asks Kelly Kelly again if she will go out with him. Kelly comes to the ring, and says “Yes”. The Miz and the other 2 members of Extreme Expose come out and dis on Balls Mahney, then tell Kelly Kelly it’s time to go. She says no, The Miz grabs Kelly Kelly, and Balls Mahoney knocks him down. The Miz, grabbing a mic, says that he bought out the management contract for Extreme Expose, and if Kelly Kelly goes out with Balls Mahoney, not only will she be out of Extreme Expose, she’ll also be out of ECW. Kelly, sadly, leaves with The Miz.
- Tommy Dreamer def. Elijah Burke in the Elimination Chase
- GM Estrada comes out to congratulate Tommy Dreamer on his victory, then tells him to get ready, because there is one more opponent in the Elimination Chase: Big Daddy V.
- Big Daddy V def. Tommy Dreamer to win the Elimination Chase and will face CM Punk for the ECW Championship at No Mercy 10.07.07.
