- Elijah Burke comes out to say that CM Punk’s victory at Unforgiven 09.16.07 was a fluke…and Elijah Burke will win the next time they meet. Kevin Thorn interrupts Burke, saying that Burke blew his chance, and it’s now Kevin Thorn’s time. The two of them argue, until they are interrupted by Tommy Dreamer, who says he’s done something neither of them has: won the ECW Championship - and he wants another opportunity. Stevie Richards comes out and says he was the only person in the ring who didn’t get pinned last week, so deserves a title shot. GM Estrada comes out and says none of them are yet qualified to be the #1 Contender - yet…but all 4 will be in the Elimination Chase for the next 3 weeks to determine CM Punk’s opponent at No Mercy 10.07.07. The first match of the Elimation Chase is a Fatal 4-Way - with one person being eliminated and the other 3 advancing - between the 4 of them…and it’s next.

- Elijah Burke runs into CM Punk backstage. Burke boasts about how he “dominated” the Elimination Chase Match and says he’s going to defeat CM Punk and become the new ECW Champion. Punk says he’s in a hurry and wishes Elijah Burke good luck. When Elijah reminds Punk that he said “luck is for losers” last week, CM Punk grins and tells him that’s why he said it.
- The Miz is accompanied to the ring by Extreme Expose, with Kelly Kelly holding the teddy bear Balls Mahoney gave her last week, with The Miz introducing the three of them.
- Extreme Expose dances to “Push It” by Salt N’ Pepa
- Balls Mahoney def. Mike Knox
- After the match, Balls Mahoney grabs the mic and asks Kelly Kelly to go out with him. She smiles, but before she can respond, The Miz and the other members of Extreme Expose pull her away.
