• GM Estrada introduces the new ECW Champion, CM Punk. Saying he always knew Estrada was a big fan, CM Punk gives Estrada a new CM Punk t-shirt and signs it. Saying he can feel how much Estrada wants to, CM Punk says he can go ahead and try on the new shirt. When Estrada balks, CM Punk says he doesn’t know if Estrada was being sincere, and wants to know if Estrada was just sucking up to him like some sleazy promoter. When Estrada says he wasn’t, CM Punk guilts him into putting on the new t-shirt. Estrada does…and then introduces CM Punk’s oppenent for Unforgiven 09.16.07: Elijah Burke. Burke comes out and congratulates Punk on becoming the ECW Championship - and then tells CM Punk he knew this day was coming, and it’s all thanks to Elijah Burke…and Burke says he will defeat CM Punk at Unforgiven 09.16.07. Punk steps up to Burke and tells him to stop looking into the future, and focus on the now. When Burke pushes Punk, Punk comes back with a kick that knocks Burke out of the ring.

  • After the match, Big Daddy V comes into the ring and beats up on Nunzio. Matt Striker raises Big Daddy V’s hand…and The Boogeyman’s music hits. The Boogeyman appears on the vid screen, compares Big Daddy V to Humpty Dumpty and says he’s “coming to get ya”.
  • Backstage, Kelly Kelly, holding her new teddy bear and surrounded by Layla and Brooke, prepares to watch Balls Mahoney’s match.

  • After the match, CM Punk climbs up on the ropes and stares down at Elijah Burke, who glares back.
