- John Morrison comes to the ring, saying that at SummerSlam 08.26.07, he “lit the night on fire” when he defeated CM Punk. He goes on to say that GM Armando Estrada has set a Fatal 4 Way tonight to determine the new #1 Contender for the ECW Championship…and goes on to dis the participants in the match: The Boogeyman, The Miz, Big Daddy V…and especially CM Punk.

- Backstage, Balls Mahoney walks up to The Miz and Extreme Expose. The Miz picks on Mahoney, saying his win last week was a fluke, and The Miz is going to be there to see the rematch. As Kelly Kelly leaves, she wishes Mahoney good luck.
- In Estrada’s office, Estrada tells John Morrison that whatever he needs, all he has to do is ask. CM Punk shows up, and makes Morrison flinch before walking off.
- The Miz and Extreme Expose comes out to watch Balls Mahoney’s match.
- Elijah Burke def. Balls Mahoney, despite Kelly Kelly cheering him on from ringside
- After the match, The Miz says they should have said the loser of the match was Balls Mahoney. As he walks off with Layla and Brooke, Kelly Kelly climbs into the ring to check on Balls Mahoney.
- CM Punk def. The Miz, The Boogeyman and Big Daddy V in a Fatal 4 Way Match and becomes the #1 Contender for the ECW Championship
- After the match, Big Daddy V (who has been knocked out for most of the match), realizes he lost, and takes out his anger on The Boogeyman, then stares at CM Punk as Punk walks up the ramp
