• Coach is standing in the ring, and says he will continue talking to Superstars to try to determine which WWE Superstar is Mr. McMahon’s illegitimate child. And, by order of Mr. McMahon, Coach introduces the new ECW General Manager, Armando Estranda. Estrada comes out, saying he is proud to conduct his first contract signing as General Manager, for the match at SummerSlam 08.26.07 between John Morrison and CM Punk. John Morrison comes out, then CM Punk. John Morrison tells CM Punk that sitting across the table from him is the closest he’ll ever get to the ECW Championship, then signs the contract. Before Punk signs, Morrison tells Punk he wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure of being the ECW Champion. Punk responds by saying that while he may not wear fancy sunglasses or fur coats in August, he will wear the ECW Championship after SummerSlam 08.26.07. As they start arguing, Estrada pulls them apart and tells them they each have a match tonight: John Morrison vs. The Boogeyman and CM Punk vs. Big Daddy V next.
  • Big Daddy V def. CM Punk by count-out after knocking CM Punk to the announcer’s table from the ring.
  • Backstage, Estrada tells Tommy Dreamer that he thinks he’s lazy…and if he doesn’t get to the ring in 60 seconds, he forfeits his next match. Tommy Dreamer makes it with 14 seconds to spare…only to find out that Big Daddy V is still in the ring.
  • Big Daddy V def. Tommy Dreamer
  • Backstage, Balls Mahoney asks Kelly Kelly is she wants to go get something to eat after the show. Before she can answer, The Miz shows up and ridicules Mahoney, before telling Kelly, Layla and Brooke that they have a “thing” to go to.
  • Stevie Richards def. Kevin Thorn. Thorn initially wins the match, but continues to attack Stevie Richards, causing the ref to reverse the decision.
  • Backstage, Coach continues his investigation by interviewing Elijah Burke.
  • The Boogeyman def. John Morrison after Morrison pushes the ref. After the match, The Boogeyman slams Morrison, then tries to spit worms at Morrison, but he escapes just in time.
