• The New Breed is in the ring to introduce their newest member - CM Punk. After CM Punk makes his way to the ring (and a bit more gloating by The New Breed), RVD comes out to say he hopes CM Punk is happy with his decision - because the ECW Originals are going to make him regret it. RVD then challenges Elijah Burke to a match later on tonight. When Elijah Burke doesn’t answer immediately, CM Punk grabs the mic and says that if RVD wants to face a “leader”, CM Punk will be happy to fight him. Hearing this, Elijah Burke grabs the mic and accepts RVD’s challenge.

  • Backstage, Elijah Burke asks CM Punk if he thinks Elijah is afraid of RVD. CM Punk says he does. Elijah tells CM Punk he needs to “stay in line”, to which Punk responds by walking away.
  • A preview for The Condemned (2007) is shown, focusing on “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s willingness to do most of his own stunts.

  • Backstage, CM Punk tells Matt Striker that what the New Breed needs are “independent thinkers…people with moral fiber”.
  • After recapping what happened on RAW, Lashley brings out Santino Marella, who thanks everyone (again) in Italian.
  • Backstage, CM Punk gives Kevin Thorn and Marcus Cor Von a pep talk. Afterwards, Elijah Burke tells CM Punk again that he needs to “fall in line”. CM Punk stops him, telling him not to worry, as CM Punk has Elijah’s back tonight in his match with RVD.

  • While the ref is down, Elijah Burke tells CM Punk to grab a chair. CM Punk slides the chair into the ring, “accidentally” giving it too much power, so it slides over to RVD, who promptly uses it to knock down Elijah Burke and get the win.
