• New ECW Champion Kane comes to the ring. He says he unleashed his destruction on 23 other men to earn his right to face Chavo Guerrero. Then, later that night, he decimated Chavo Guerrero in 8 seconds to become the new ECW Champion. Kane says ECW has had some of the most exciting, spectacular and brutal moments in sports entertainment - but now that’s he champion, “you haven’t seen anything yet.”
  • CM Punk makes his way to the ring, carrying his Money-In-The-Bank briefcase. CM Punk says that he’s a little bit jealous of Kane. CM Punk has a contract for a championship match, while Kane won himself a championship.
  • Chavo Guerrero comes out and says that no one is getting a title shot before he gets his rematch, and tells Kane that his victory on Sunday was a fluke. Kane laughs, saying he beat him in 8 seconds. CM Punk chimes in, saying that not only did Chavo lose the championship at Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08, he is now the proud record holder of the shortest match in Wrestlemania history.
  • Chavo says that the two of them are in a match tonight - but Kane and CM Punk aren’t opponents, they’re partners, and they are going to face Chavo Guerrero and Shelton Benjamin.
  • Shelton Benjamin comes out and says that he’s going to show tonight why he’s the “gold standard”, to which CM Punk responds “you can call yourself any name you like, except one - ‘Money In The Bank’.”

  • Tazz asks how Colin Delaney enjoyed Wrestlemania XXIV 03.30.08. He says he liked it, but he hopes that next year he’ll be in a match under his official WWE contract, rather than buying a ticket.
  • GM Estrada comes out and says that he’s there to say congratulations to Colin Delaney, and offer him his first WWE contract - then laughs and says “April Fools!” Estrada says if Colin Delaney wants a WWE contract, he’s going to have to earn it - by defeating The Big Show.
  • The Big Show def. Colin Delaney by choking him out.
