Panic Room (2002)

Plot: Meg Altman (Foster) and her daughter find a place in Manhattan previously owned by a rich wheelchair-bound recluse, Sidney Perlstein. Sidney, being a bit paranoid, has installed a panic room: a safe room totally shut off from the rest of the house with it’s own air supply, buried phone line, and emergency supplies. Meg finds out she needs this room much sooner than she expected, because three men break in her first evening in the house. They are after ol’ Sidney’s hidden safe. The only problem? The safe is in the panic room…and now so are Meg and her daughter.

Plot: When she was younger, Elizabeth (Knightley) helped rescue the only survivor of a pirate attack, a young boy named Will, who was wearing a mysterious pirate gold medallion. Fearing for Will’s safety, young Elizabeth hides the medallion and forgets about it…until years later, when she discovers it may be part of a curse on the crew of the Black Pearl, a pirate ship of legend. Meanwhile, Will Turner (Bloom) and Elizabeth Swan (Knightley) have to postpone their wedding after they are accused of aiding a pirate. To clear them, Will must find Jack Sparrow and bring Jack’s fabled compass back to the East India Trading Company. But Elizabeth isn’t one to sit and wait. Inspired by the Disney Theme Park Ride.

In the aftermath of the wave, in a world suddenly turned upside down, a few passengers must do what they can to reach the surface. Now Frank is looking for Mr. Saint. Don’t call it revenge, though - this is punishment. Based on the Marvel comic book character by the same name.
