Madagascar (2005)
Plot: Marty the Zebra (Rock), Alex the Lion (Stiller), Gloria the Hippo (Pinkett Smith) and Mlman the Giraffe (Schwimmer) have it all as star attractions at the Central Park Zoo in New York City. Despite all that, Marty wonders what life would be like “in the wild”. His wish comes true, as a series of events leaves the 4 friends stranded on the island of Madagascar, without a human in sight. Plot: A fan’s comment during a political comedian Tom Dobb’s (Williams) talk show one night causes Tom to join the next presidential race. He brings his show on the road, skewering the other candidates. That is, until he’s elected President that November. But, when he finds out a computer error is behind his bizarre new situation, he has to decide whether he should stay President and work to change the corrupt system from the inside, or do what no politician ever would - be honest.
Man On Fire (2004)
Plot: John Creasy (Washington) is a man wandering. When his old army pal decides to set him up with a job as a bodyguard in Mexico City for a young girl named Lupita (Fanning), he goes along mainly because he has nothing better to do. Inevitably, the young girl breaks through the crusty exterior and once again gives Creasy something to live for. When she’s kidnapped, Creasy will do whatever it takes to exact his revenge on those responsible.

Plot: It’s 1999, and Thomas Anderson (Reeves) is a computer programmer by day - and a hacker named Neo by night. Plot: With the machines on their way to Zion, an epic battle is about to begin for Zion’s very survival. Meanwhile, Neo (Reeves) must journey into the heart of Machine City to a final confrontation with the renegade Agent Smith (Weaving) if he has any chance to fulfill his destiny and end the War against the Machines.
Miami Vice (2006)
Plot: When a couple of undercover agents are gunned down by white supremacists, Crockett (Farrelll) and Tubbs (Foxx) go deep undercover to try and bring down the drug smuggling operation behind the killings. But, when Crockett falls for the boss’ wife Isabella (Li), they start blurring the edges between reality and their false identites. Based on the characters from the 1980’s TV show of the same name.
Mindhunters (2005)
Plot: Before completing their training with the FBI, a group of profilers are sent to a deserted island for the weekend to participate in a simulation. When one of them dies, they realize this is no simulation. Now, with no one else on the island, they must discover which one of them is the killer - or die.
Minority Report (2002)
Plot: In the future, murder can be predicted. With the help of the PreCogs, murder in Washington, D.C. is down to zero. The PreCogs “see” the murder before it happens, and the Pre-Crime unit, led by John Anderton (Cruise) apprehends the murderer before they can kill. The system is perfect. Perfect, that is, until Anderton is “seen” as the next murderer. Now he must run and try to prove his innocence. Based on a short story by Philip K. Dick.
Mission: Impossible (1996)
Plot: Ethan Hunt (Cruise) is the point man for an Impossible Missions Force. Their latest job: to infiltrate a party and find the stolen NOC list, which details the real names of every agent in Eastern Europe. The catch: the whole operation is a ruse, a mole hunt for someone deep within IMF. Plot: The day after an especially intense storm, a group of townspeople are attacked by strange and horrifying creatures that emerge from the thick mist that has settled on the town. As the survivors barricade themselves inside a supermarket, they discover they must face the battle amongst themselves before they can take on the creatures outside. Monster (2003)
Plot: Aileen (Theron) is a hooker. During a drunken night she meets someone new: Selby (Ricci). Right before their first big date, Aileen is brutalized during a “trick”, and ends up killing her attacker. As her already abused psyche tries to cope with this new attack, she grows more and more attracted to Selby. But, as her killing ways continue, it’s unlikely this will turn out well. Based on the true story of Florida serial killer Aileen Wuornos.
Monster House (2006)
Plot: After an accident puts his neighbor (Buscemi) in the hospital, 13-year old DJ (Musso) and his friend Chowder (Lerner) begin to witness strange things about the now empty house. As the house’s actions get more and more worriesome, and no adults will believe them, they decide they must take things into their own hands to stop the house…before Halloween night delivers trick-or-treaters to it’s doorstep. Monsters, Inc. (2001)
