the Mind’s Chew Toy

A website called bannerbot.conversive.com has a new tool to let you add a talking head - which they call a BannerBot - to your Wordpress sidebar (or anywhere else on your Wordpress installation! Simply fill in a few fields (background-color, height and width, what you want it to say, etc.) and the site will automatically create the files needed!

Installation is super simple:

1. Head on over to bannerbot.conversive.com and create your BannerBot
2. Download the zip file (located at the bottom of that page)
3. Open the zip file
4. Paste the contents of the src.text file into a post (or a sidebar text widget)
• Note: If you are pasting the contents into a post, be sure to include The Base Href in your header template.
5. Upload the 3 other files to your website (if you’re using WordPress, copy them to the folder you installed WordPress in)

That’s it! Now wasn’t that easy?
