- Backstage, Vickie Guerrero, still in a wheelchair, tells Edge that her pain and suffering will come to an end when he becomes the new World Heavyweight Champion. Edge tells her that her love give him “the strength of three men”, then asks for a kiss for good luck before he leaves.

- During an interview backstage, Randy Orton says that since Chris Jericho likes code so much, he has one for Jericho: Orton 18 - which stands for the amount of championships John Cena, Shawn Michaels and Triple H have between them…and they’ve all fallen to Randy Orton. Orton says Jericho shouldn’t “save us”, he should “spare us”.
